I changed my career from media/journalism to startups because I felt I wanted to experience "the business side" of things.

Part of it was about technology and innovation. Part of it, of course, was about money.

Honest question: how can @WIRED afford to offer 5 bucks digital subscription for one year?!? 6 bucks inclusive of print edition?!? FULL PRICE at 30 bucks?!?

I love it, but I don't understand the economics of it.
